Digitization of SHGs under STCCS

The Bank has decided to digitize all the SHGs under Short Term Cooperative Credit Structure Entity so that assistance from WBSRLM-Anandadhara may be extended to all the SHGs directly in the days to come. All SHGs are to be regarded as WBSRLM-compliant SHGs. Such SHGs would be eligible for interest subvention to avail the credit as well as the benefit of the Scheme. In order to include all SHGs in the MIS of WBSRLM , digitization of the related data of such SHGs along with their members is required. The  West Bengal State Rural Livelihood Mission (WBSRLM) has agreed to include the SHGs under Short Term Co-operative Credit Structure (STCCS) of the State of West Bengal in the portal of WBSRLM on the following terms:-

1. The Data in respect of SHGs to be captured as per Prescribed Format of WBSRLM.
2. The Data entry software will be handed over to The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Limited by WBSRLM for making necessary entries in this regard.

Besides, the authority of WBSRLM has also agreed to provide some financial assistance for such Digitization Work. There are two steps for Digitization of SHGs – (a) Collection of Data of SHGs and (b) Uploading of Data in the portal of WBSRLM. Accordingly, Sensitization Programs related to Digitization of SHGs under STCCS are in progress through PACS. It is expected that Digitization of SHGs will be completed by 31st July, 2016.
